FULL CIRCLE: PALEY'S PLACE BRINGS BACK TOP CHEFS FOR ANNIVERSARY SERIES
Thank you everyone for joining us in celebrating our 18 years of business! The dinner series was a great way for us to give thanks to all that have gone through our doors!
PAST: Exploring the history and tradition of the Northwest restaurant through the eyes of Paley and former chefs.
Chef Vitaly Paley sparked something special in a new alumni series with several prominent Portland chefs who honed their skills at Northwest Portland's Paley's Place. Marking the 18th anniversary of the legendary restaurant, Paley is eager to highlight the past, showcase the present and looked to the future in these dinners.
As was chronicled in MIX Magazine in 2012, the James Beard Award-winning Paley was part of a select few early Portland restaurants that inspired & spawned a great generation of young chefs, including standouts Gabriel Rucker of Le Pigeon, Scott Ketterman of Crown Paella and Tommy Habetz of Bunk, Bunk Bar and most recently Trigger, among others.
Each dinner featured a delicious 5 course meal prepared by Vitaly Paley, Executive Chef Patrick McKee and the guest chef.
Wednesday, February 27: Guest Chef Gabriel Rucker of Le Pigeon & Little Bird Bistro
Thursday, March 21: Guest Chef Scott Ketterman from Crown Paella & Kristin D. Murray
Tuesday, April 23: Guest Chef Courtney Sproule from Din Din Supper Club
Thursday, May 16: Guest Chef Jason Barwikowski from the Woodsman Tavern
