Paley’s Place Bistro & Bar has been an Oregon institution since its February 1995 opening. Owned and operated by husband-and-wife team Vitaly and Kimberly Paley, the critically-acclaimed restaurant is located within Portland’s leafy Northwest district and prides itself on elegant fare that clearly showcases local, sustainably-produced food.
Chef Paley was the recipient of the 2005 James Beard Foundation Best Chef Pacific Northwest Award, he was nominated as a 2012 James Beard Foundation Semi-Finalist for Outstanding Chef, was a victor on the Food Network’s popular seriesIron Chef America, and was declared Chef of the Year in Portland Monthly’s 2012 Restaurant Issue.
